Gun Grabber Round Up: 2/26

They are overplaying their hand.

Hogg has taken to defending the deputies who did nothing to try and save his life.

David Hogg: Gov. Rick Scott Should Be ‘Held Accountable’ For Sheriff’s Deputies That Didn’t Confront Shooter

And now, anybody who points out that this teenager has gone completely political is attacking a child.  He is not a child.  He is in high school.  Has already made decisions about sex.  He has already made decisions about drugs and he has clearly and obviously made decisions about his politics.

He cries out in pain as he attempts to strike you.  He is already an SJW.

Although if he thinks the governor of his state is in charge of the local sheriff's department, he has clearly failed basic civics... Do they still have basic civics?

"Do they still have basic civics?"

Good question. I've become an academic puke in these later stages of life. After the 2016 election I dealt with a goodly selection of college students moaning about how the new dictator was going to start the cattle cars rolling....

Old enough to know better, but first time I heard this crap, I made the mistake of explaining to this group of snow-flakes (engineering and physics students believe it or not) about the limitations on presidential power, e.g., 3000+ independent sheriff depts, county commissions, mayors, city councils, independent judiciary, legislatures, governors, Congress, Federal courts....it was a fruitless endeavor.

Anyway lessoned learned. Quickly fell back to "leave the politics at the door and focus on the course you are paying for."

I honestly think our generation got a better education listening to Schoolhouse Rock every Saturday morning than these kids do from 12 years years of schooling

English Teacher: can anyone give me an example of an interjection?

And a soft, melodious humm would permeate the classroom as everyone stared to go through the lyrics.

I think you are right. We did the same in my classes. Although I once failed my test on memorizing the preamble because I wrote down word for word the school house rock version - and they added an extra clause to round out the musical score. Heh.
