Dark Winter... The Review Are In!

Hugh McKay
4.0 out of 5 starsEntertaining. worth the money.

The world building was tight and believable. Good pacing to the story. The characters were well done. No supermen. Random chance plays a role in their actions and reactions. issues with the book are little things that could have been caught by an editor. typos. character name spelling changes. The first third of the book had weird format changes on my kindle. All of those through me out of the story from time to time.

Hugh, I am extremely grateful for your kind and unsolicited words. The formatting problems will be corrected by Monday. I am still learning the intricacies of KDP. I'll do what I can about the misspellings but I am unlikely to catch everything.

Dark Winter: The Great Divide Game

The end of the world begins in the middle of the Michigan State University/University of Michigan’s annual Great Divide Game. Zombies provide the halftime show.

Dark Winter is an exciting roller coaster of a novel. A disease that is devouring the world. A Team of Marines detailed to guard the only hope for a cure. A hero condemned for a crime he didn’t commit. A father trying to protect his family. A beautiful Russian scientist. Murder. Revenge. And desperate escape plan hatched at the start of the next American Civil War.

Would you like me to send you copy-edit notes? If you have the ability to create a clean copy from them, it's worth taking the time to do it.

So far I'm enjoying your book.
