A Tale of Two Trailers

The days when I was capaable of taking an interest in ComiCon trailers are long over.  None the less trailers for two new Star Trek TV shows have been brought to my attention.

One of them is officially Star Trek and one of them is not.

One of them I have no desire to see whatsoever and one of them has me curious enough to tune in... To the first episode anyway.

Can you tell which is which?

Discovery stars two wenches, a Negro and a Chink?

who ruin everything ( that is, start the war with the Klingons )?

so a White Man is trying to fix it?

do i have this right?

how could such a Regressive plotline have been produced in Current Year?

your promo for Orville is better than the one that aired before 'Dunkirk' this weekend but i've about had my fill of Seth McFarlane.

also, the theme song they chose for Discovery is Ten Years After, perhaps the original reactionary rock and roll song.

this is the correct first verse, which they were so careful to exclude from the promo.

I always called that show, in its every iteration, Star Drek.

So Trek is ripping off Mystery Men now?

Better than ripping off Doctor Who... Which I am afraid comes next.
