Something to Keep An Eye On

There are numerous companies taking bids to build The Wall.  Now most of these are construction firms as you would rightly expect.

The problem is that this is also supposed to be a high tech wall.  That means software.

Hey guess where the companies sending out those bids are based?

Did you say, San Francisco?  Good boy! Here's a biscuit.

There is always the possibility that there is a right-wing incubator in the Valley.  Who knows right? I mean anything is possible but the question that has to be asked is can any of those software companies be trusted to do the job without sabotaging it?

I'd get the Hungarians to build and code it.

I'm sure you want to use Americans but Magal Securities did a great job on Israel's wall, which is a mix of a standard wall and high tech.

I suspect that Defense contractors, large and small, will have bids. While the largest are known for their hardware (Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon), any of the top 30 have substantial sw development businesses, and experience selling to the government.
