I'm Afraid the Problem May Be a Bit Beyond "Being Out of Touch"

Oh...this. Is. Sad.

A day after House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., was grilled by "Meet The Press" host Chuck Todd on whether her party's leadership was out of touch with the current political climate, the nearly three-decade veteran of Congress mistakenly referred to President Trump as "President Bush."

I'm going to miss Dingbat Nancy.  Truly I will.  We wouldn't have gotten anywhere near as far as have without her.

For the most part the Democrats have only kept her around for two reasons.  One, forcing her step down would be more trouble than it's worth.  Two, no one wants her job.

Unfortunately her age is clearly taking it's toll.  We are getting to the point where her age will force the issue whether the House Democrats want to face it or not.

Too bad.

The Democrats have a serious problem which Obama's election hid for 8 years. They don't really have many young cadres, pretty much all of their leadership is really old. The young Occupy types who are in the party are so off putting with feminist rants about male privilege and racial grievances that the Democrats really don't have anyone to replace the old men(and women) of the party.

They had a few up and coming sparks here and there but Obama disastrous off year elections eliminated all of them. There is nobody left at this point but geriatrics sitting comfortably in the safest of safe districts.

Early dementia? Or not so early. By the time it's starting to show - by the time they can't hide it - it's getting bad.
